Wow, Arizona. It is the dead of summer, we're in record heat, and somehow y'all have scheduled about 100 more events than last week. Which is... kind of amazing.

It is also way more than any one person can possibly do, so please don't look at this list and feel like you need to do it all. You don't. If something catches your eye, go for it. One action is plenty for a week, especially if you come back and do another next week.

August 15 is doing a lot of the heavy lifting, with a Proposition 314 (Immigration enforcement) town hall in Phoenix, a protest over ICE operations at Home Depot, a workshop about who sets our power bill, and door knocking happening in a dozen cities. Before that, there's a training in Eloy on August 12 for residents who want to speak to the Pinal County Board of Supervisors about the La Osa data center while there's still time to have an impact.

## If you only do one thing this week

[**Write Postcards to Native Voters**](https://cardzilla.persontoperson.net/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org) · By September 1 · From home

About 19,000 Native voters across Arizona's tribal lands need to update their voter registration before November, and Arizona Native Democrats is asking volunteers for 25 postcards each. You create an account on their Cardzilla portal, request a batch of 25 addresses, and they send the addresses and the script together. You can write five at a sitting or all twenty-five at once - I used to write them during boring work meetings, ha.

## Five minutes or less

Don't have much time but want to do more? Try these.

- **Call Sen. Gallego and Sen. Kelly about the CLARITY Act.** The bill would move crypto companies to a friendlier regulator and strip ethics provisions that stop officials from profiting off the industry they oversee. It stalled before recess for lack of votes, the Senate returns September 14, and Sen. Gallego already voted to advance it in committee. Gallego: 480-697-3600\. Kelly: 602-671-7901\. [Background and an email option here](https://act.indivisible.org/sign/urge-democrats-oppose-and-stop-trumps-crypto-corruption/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org).
- **Sign up for Hands Off Our Vote.** The Senate confirmed election denier Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence last week, and Arizona is already listed among the states most at risk of election interference this cycle.
