We collect what organizations around the state are doing each week and put it in one place to make it easier for people to get involved. Some housekeeping to begin: our Threads account was banned and there's no getting it back, so if that's where you followed the Hub, nothing new is coming to that feed. I don't know why it was banned, only that it is a final decision and cannot be appealed. So! With that, let's take a look at the week ahead. ## If you only do one thing this week [**Justice Gaps: Unresolved Cases in Arizona**](https://us06web.zoom.us/meeting/register/SzC3skn9TMGtt8DHGwISLw?ref=azadvocacyhub.org#/registration) · September 23 · Virtual Arizonans for Effective Public Safety and the Unsolved Cases Coalition host a Zoom panel at 6:00 PM on the state's unresolved cases: where the gaps in resources and investigative capacity sit, and what would better support families still waiting for answers. It is part of their Unresolved Cases Awareness Week of Action, and registration asks for a name and an email. Taking part means listening rather than speaking, and it works from anywhere, including the parts of the state this week's in-person events do not reach. ## Five minutes or less ☐ **Check and update your voter registration.** Registration closes October 5 at 11:59 PM, and anyone who has moved or changed their email needs the record to match. Update it at [AZVoterRegistration.com](https://azvoterregistration.com/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org). If something goes wrong registering or voting, the Election Protection hotline is 866-OUR-VOTE, with 888-VE-Y-VOTA in Spanish and 888-777-3831 for Native voters. ☐ **Request your early ballot.** The request deadline is October 23\. Check your registration and Active Early Voter List status at [my.arizona.vote](https://my.arizona.vote/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org), and sign up for ballot status alerts at [Trackmyballot.azsos.gov](https://trackmyballot.azsos.gov/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org). A meme telling voters to add a stamp to a mail-in ballot is going around and it is false; ballots already move as first class mail. ☐ **Sign the letter on Medicare Part D premiums.** CMS is ending the Part D premium stabilization program after 2026, a year early, and the administration acknowledges roughly 75 percent of stand-alone drug plan enrollees will pay more in 2027\. By the group's account it already pushed the city to drop Flock, blocked Axon from replacing it, and got a statement that Tempe will not use ALPRs; the ordinance would put that in writing. The $1 billion ESA voucher program stays unregulated, and Save Our Schools Arizona has pivoted to the legislature. - What to do: [Adopt one of eight target districts](https://www.mobilize.us/sosarizona/event/1014441/?ref=azadvocacyhub.org): LD2, LD4, LD9, LD13, LD16, LD17, LD23 or LD27\. The commitment is canvassing, driving canvassers, or phone banking there through the election. **Read the fine print on Props 320, 318, 144 and 142.** Arizona voters face eight ballot measures in November, and the four the legislature referred that touch schools and voting carry titles that do not describe what they do.
